How Does Olaplex 5P make hair appear brighter?

Purple conditioners provide toning benefits for blonde or lightened hair by counteracting brassy and yellow tones. On the color wheel, purple is the opposite of yellow, which is why purple cancels out yellow. It also works on grey hair that can sometimes have a yellow characteristic.

Can I use No 5P every day?

Yes, depending on the amount of brassiness you want to eliminate. However, we recommend 2-3 uses a week.

Will Olaplex 5P tone orange or red tones on brunette or darker highlights?

No, purple conditioners are used to brighten and tone yellow tones. For orangey or darker tones, use a blue shampoo or blue conditioner.
