    PRO-TIP
    The balm is rich in oils, so you will need to stir and remix it from time to time. For this reason, it is always recommended to use less and add as needed. It’s great for smoothing split ends and deconstructing beach waves.

For beard or skin: Scoop a dime size amount into your hand then emulsify. Apply on your face or in your beard using finger tips. Massage the product in and smell the gloriousness.

On Wet Hair: Apply mid-shaft to ends on thick, unruly hair. Blow out smooth.

On Dry Hair: Scoop a dime size amount into your hands then emulsify. Use fingertips to deconstruct waves, mold short hair, or add definition to curls.

I have tried many products to help my dry scalp. my hair is very curly and so nothing really works for very long. I tried this product, loved it, then tried to find something cheaper. Nothing matched up. this is worth the money, 100 percent.

really disappointed in the performance of this product. it separated constantly, meaning I had to stir the product before using it. never had to do that and frankly not sure why they decided to leave the formula like that.the worst part is after 2 months of using it sparingly I found mold growing. went to look at the INCI only to find there's basically no preservative. probably why my scalp was in such bad shape afterwards.

Hi DK,We are so sorry to hear that you had a less than wonderful experience with your product. As the Balm is all natural, it is normal for the ingredients to separate as they don’t include chemical binding ingredients. All natural products should be shaken or stirred before use. Also, you’re right, as the product is clean there are no chemical preservatives in it. Cult & King uses a special tincture preservative. We recommend closing it air tight and shaking it vigorously to remix it. With that being said, the mold is absolutely not normal. We are happy to replace the product for you asap.

Works amazing as a hand and face moisturizer; the Menthol give this really pleasing cooling effect and I didn't feel like it clogged my pores. I can only use a little bit on my hair because it is somewhat heavy, but it's perfect for giving a little moisture and body, controlling frizzy flyaways.

I really like the feel and smell of this product and its ingredient list is terrific. there was a minor issue with the packaging as the bamboo exterior case covers a very normal plastic case that slides out easily. maybe they can fix that.

The great: This balm is great for giving my wavy, prone to frizzy, thin, hair some weight and texture so it can be a little more defined. Smells nice, all natural. Love it. Ordering was fine and customer service great. They corrected my shipping address that had auto populated incorrectly from my Google Pay account. The bad: The 64oz pouch came in a cardboard box filled with packing peanuts and a non-recyclable plastic coated brochure for North Authentic. I ordered the pouch for eco reasons. The peanuts are likely compostable, but won't break down in regular garbage without oxygen, and I'm thoroughly confused by the plastic-coated paper brochure for a "conscious hair care company.' Please reconsider, North Authentic.

First of all let me say the hair quiz North Authentic offers is what led me to this product. Thanks North Authentic!! Your hair quiz has been a game changer for me. You recommended brands I wasn’t familiar with but I’ve been attempting to buy clean products for a while, although not always successful at it. I’ve only used this on my hair so far and it’s helped with the dryness and frizziness so much. I purchased the 1oz because the other sizes were sold out! Good sign that it’s that fantastic.
