Yes, if you want to maintain color vibrance of red, copper, chocolate, tobacco or golden; however, for the Alchemic Silver Line (Davines purple shampoo and conditioner), we only recommend using it 1-2 times per week maximum depending on porosity of hair. Overuse can cause dullness and chalky color.

Do I need to use both the Alchemic Shampoo and Conditioner?

While you are free to use Davines Alchemic shampoos or conditioners on their own, Davines recommends using the together for best results.
