Step 1: Starting with wet hair, squeeze out any excess moisture by moving your hair in an upward motion.
Step 2: Apply Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner In throughout your hair and continue to scrunch with your fingers.
Step 3: Apply Ouidad Vita Curl + Define & Shine Styling Gel-Cream evenly through strands and, using your detangling brush, comb the product evenly throughout your hair. Begin to squeeze strands in an upward motion to create bouncy curls. Diffuse curls.
Step 4: Use a Denman Brush to smooth hair along the side of your head. With a flat hand, hold hair in place. With the other hand, slide hair pins securely into place, ensuring no hair sits on top of the pin. Repeat with multiple pins.
2. HIGH PILED CURLS

Step 2: Leaving a large front triangle section loose, pull your curls into a high ponytail, then pull curls forward with your fingers over the front of your ponytail.
Step 3: Using a bird’s nest shaped clip, slide it over your ponytail leaving your curls out. Fluff curls forward and set with Amika Fluxus Flexible Hold Hairspray.
Step 4: Finally, add a sparkly hair pin on the underside of your ponytail for some glam.
3. HIGH PONY HALF UP STYLE
Looking for a hairstyle that flatters pretty much everyone? Half up half down hairstyles are it. For a look that can go either casual or dressed up for the season, let’s get your high pony half up style on.
Step 1: Section hair into three sections (nape to above the ear/ears to crown/top of head). Drop each section to curl. Spritz each section with Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Heat Styling Spray and comb through strands before you apply heat.
Step 2: Using a 1 ¼ inch curling iron, curl hair section by section.
Step 3: Grab a section of hair above the ears from the front of your hair line. Slick back hair to a high ponytail, placing the hair above the crown.
Step 4: Use Milbon Molding Wax 7 and a comb to slick the hair back cleanly before securing. Secure in a hair tie to keep hair smooth and slicked on the front hair line.
Step 5: Pull a thin piece of hair from just below the pony and begin wrapping it around the hair tie. Wrap the hair completely until you are able to secure the ends below the high ponytail with a bobby pin.
Step 6: Spray the hair and ends with Milbon Extra Strong Hold Hairspray to secure in place.
4. HOLIDAY CROWN BRAID
So, ethereal and holiday-ready. This elegant style is your crowning glory for any dressy affair. Let’s just say, the result is well worth the effort.
Step 1: Apply Milbon Satin Texturizing Cream 3 throughout dry hair and brush through. Create a deep part on the right side. Leave a few pieces of hairline out if you want to create a messier hair line. So cute.
Step 2: Pick a small section on the heavy side of the part and divide it into three sections. To create a dutch braid (you will braid exactly like a french braid but cross under, rather than over), take the right section and cross it under the middle section. Then cross the left section under the middle section.
Step 3: Next, repeat from the top, crossing the right section under the middle section – however, this time pick up more hair adding it to the right section as you cross it under. Then cross the left section under the middle section while adding more hair.
Step 4: Repeat the steps as you braid down to the left ear. Once the braid reaches the left ear, switch hands and continue the braid around the back of the head. You will be picking up and adding hair from the top of the head and the nape as you braid toward the right side of the head.
Step 5: Ensure you are adding all the hair from the back of the head as you work toward the right ear.
Step 6: Once you reach the back of the right ear, all of your hair should be included in the braid. At this point, you can continue braiding the remaining three strands down to the ends and secure with a clear, small hair tie.
Step 7: Pull the braid across the top of the head, setting it behind the beginning of the braid. Secure with hair pins. Tuck the end of the braid under the beginning braid so you can hide the hair tie.
Step 8: Spray the braid with Living Proof Dry Volume & Texture Spray then go back and pull the edges of the braid carefully to make the braid fuller and fluffier. Don’t worry about little hairs that come out as it looks great when it’s messy.

Step 1: Keeping out the front fringe, pull all hair back into a low ponytail. Secure with a hair tie.

Step 3: Using a 1 ½ inch curling iron, curl hair section by section.
Step 4: Take a horizontal section of the top of the ponytail and clip it out of the way. The bottom half of the ponytail will be exposed. Using a comb, backcomb the ponytail at the base to create fullness. Unclip the top of the ponytail and using a comb smooth out the pony to cover the backcombing.
Step 5: Take a strand of hair from the bottom of the ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie. Secure the end of the hair section under the ponytail with a bobby pin.
